McManis Petite Sirah, 2004

Last night I had a bottle of the McManis Family Vineyards Petite Sirah. I was old by my wine merchant that when he first got this wine in, he had a tasting and the entire case sold out that night. When he got his next case I purchased a bottle. A coworker of mine purchased a bottle a few days a go and came in the next day raving about it. So, last night a friend purchased a bottle for me and a couple of us split it after work.

It really is a good wine. I would recommend it, even though it is a new wine. I would like to keep the bottle I have for a couple of years to see if it gets better, but I doubt I ill be able to. At $16 a bottle it is defiantly worth it.
